On  Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th of October, 2009 students from Pre-K to  seventh grades went to see  the plays called “Wintertime” and “Stonehenge”. This plays were presented  at 24 de Mayo Theater.  The organization of these plays were in charge of an argentinian group called “The Performers”, which goes around South America presenting this beautiful plays.

The main objectives of this field trip were that the students listen to English language in different contexts, to make the students used to differents kinds of English pronounciations and accents,  to reinforce the listening comprehension and to create the culture of watching performances of this kind.

Students apreaciated the play, and they had a good time. Some of them were happy because eventhough the  actors had an English British accent they could understand the play.

Students of Liceo los Alamos behaved very good at this field trip, it was a pleasure taking them, they were really excited because we haven’t had field trips of this kind , and we plan to continue doing this every year so the students could have a fun time, enjoy them and learn more about them.
